Dear Brothers and Friends,
Greetings!
I pray that this letter finds you and your family well. Four months ago I entered in my twenty one year of pastoral. The Lord has been so faithful! He is doing wonderful things and I know that He will continue to be faithful to finish the good work He has started in me. God has given me the opportunity serve him along my family in Lugoj and Criciova.
My years on the pastoral field were truly some the most fulfilling years of my life. They were joyful and life-giving. They were also tear-filled, stressful, and often just plain difficult, and yet, I'll never regret a single day that I and my family are involved in this ministry. Through this letter, we want you to see us serving God and others in Romania.
Our work connects us with amazing people like Sorin and Cristi, who have overcome enormous obstacles and are eager to make the most of new opportunities.
In the last year I mentored them and they have decided to go to the Seminary in order to grow in the knowledge of God and his word and helping others to follow Jesus. Sorin is 19 years old and he is from Criciova and the other one is Cristi, 45 years old from Efrata.
One will go to Bucharest at Baptist Theological Institute, and the second one will go to Timisoara at the Baptist Institute.
Ten months ago, I conducted the funeral of Sorin's mother, who died because of Covid infection at the age of 52. From that moment Sorin became a priority for me in terms of the spiritual life. We spent time together and Sorin was determined to follow the Lord Jesus in the water of baptism. I focused my energy on those who need the Gospel. At that baptism, four young people were baptized.
We prepare for winter and we continue to provide free food parcels and personal care items to help people get through a crisis, as well as bedding and other household items where the person or family has none. Especially we support seniors and widows, but for some reasons we help families with many children. This is small expression of our faithfulness.
